
Robin Tae Lee
Bass-Baritone



Robin Tae Lee is an American Bass-Baritone based in New Jersey. A frequent concert soloist, he has sung the bass solos in the Mozart's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Faure's Requiem, and Theodore Dubois's The Seven Last Words of Christ, all with The Schola Quartet at St. Anthony's in Red Bank, NJ. He recently performed the baritone solos in Faure's Requiem and Haydn's Requiem at St. Mary's of Mount Virgin in New Brunswick. In his international travels, Robin has appeared as a soloist with Orfeón Pamplonés in Pamplona, Spain. He has also sung with Higher Word Orchestra, and with St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, NJ. As a choral singer and vocal ensemble musician Robin has also appeared with Steeple Concerts at St. Paul's, The LOTUS Project, Spoletto Festival USA, Princeton University Glee Club, and the Montclair State University Chorale.

On the operatic stage, he has been seen as Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte with Light Opera of New Jersey, Masetto in Don Giovanni with Chautauqua Opera, and Balthazar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors with Westminster Choir College. He has also sung Poulenc's Les Mamelles de Tirésias with Tanglewood Music Center and in Carmen and Madama Butterfly with NJ Opera Festival.
Lee is a proud alumni of Westminster Choir College and former member of their Symphonic Choir, with which he sang along side the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra and New Jersey Symphony. Additionally, he was trained as a Phyliss Curtain Seminarian at Tanglewood Institute and an apprentice artist at Chautauqua Institute.

Mr. Lee grew up in Parsippany, New Jersey and now resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He is currently a lead cantor at St. Helena's in Edison, a seasonal baritone at Temple B'nai Shalom in East Brunswick, and a member of the Baldwin Festival Chorus in New York City. This spring, he will once again appear as a soloist with The Schola Quartet at St. Anthony's, singing the bass solo in Haydn's Missa in tempore belli (Mass in Time of War).
